Chamber Circle presents Russian composer Anton Arensky's First Piano
Trio, a lovely work with memorable melodies and scintillating piano
writing, reminiscent of Tchaikovsky's great First Piano Trio.
Perhaps the most sublime of his three piano quartets. Brahms' Third
Piano Quartet has an achingly beautiful slow movement. This work
dispels the popular image of Brahms as dead-serious composer of
symphonies.
